Who we are

What we collect

  • Enquiry data. Name, company, work email, country and the content of your message, when you use the contact form or email us.
  • Contract data. Names and contact details of the individuals administering a licence or support contract.
  • Compliance data. Information needed for export control screening, including end-user and end-use details.
  • Server logs. IP address, user agent and requested URL, kept for security and diagnostic purposes.

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and does not load third-party trackers.

Why we process it

  • To respond to your enquiry and to provide the material you request.
  • To perform a contract you have entered into with us, or to take steps before entering one.
  • To meet legal obligations, including export control screening and record keeping.
  • For our legitimate interest in operating and securing this website.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing purposes. We disclose it only to service providers acting on our instructions (hosting, email, document delivery), and to public authorities where a legal obligation — typically export control — requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a contract: [24] months.
  • Contract and licence records: for the term plus [10] years.
  • Export compliance records: as required by applicable law.

Your rights

Subject to the law applicable to you, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to privacy@alfarf.com; we respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to your national supervisory authority.

International transfers

Where we transfer personal data outside the country in which it was collected, we do so under an appropriate safeguard recognised by the applicable law. Details are available on request.
